Sorry for shouting! But I am thrilled to report that my first queen size, first bergello quilt is finally all quilted and bound and on my bed, we tested it last night and it is awesome! Hubby and I love it! Sure beats the "Made In China" quilt we were using

The pattern for the bargello is a tutorial here on the board by our talented member Barb_MO, I did it in subtle fall colors (new approach the subtle part) and using it for our bed. I rented a longarm for the first time to quilt it, used wool batting (heavenly light and soo soft) and quilted it all free hand with some wavy lines all across, I think it turned out it great for a novice! I had the quilt on a zipper set and took me total 2.5 hours to quilt this 102'' square Bargello  Including loading time, how spectacular is that? I loved the experience!

Thanks all for looking!

WOO HOO!!! I should say so...............This is over the top in my book. I like Bargello but this one is so different from any I have seen. I like the larger pattern to it and the colors are so yummy.
This really makes me want to make one.
What pattern did you use?
I didn't know you could rent a long arm!!! Did you go to a LQS to do this?
Great Job and you should be so proud of it!
