LOL! My first quilt took me two years to finish because I balked at doing the border!

What a wonderful quilt, you did such a great job!

My friend would have loved this one, she was from england. Many times we had a cup of tea together.

Sadly she passed away, but I know, one day I will have a cup of tea with her again.

of course your hand applique.
It is one of those wow quilts.
