i made a bunch of star blocks from the book "Keep quilting with Alex Anderson" out of neutrals just as an exercise to work with only creams/tans---then didn't know what to do with them...finally decided to make a sandhill crane and surround him with stars for my sister-in-law in Florida...it fit her decor nicely! and she loves it!
