For those of you who buy clothes or sew for 18" dolls - do your little girl customers prefer styles of the past or do they like to dress them in current fashions?

    (A little market research here...)

My 10 yr old neice wants her clothes for the doll to be "fashionable", she has some older style clothes, she puts them on the doll, but only if the doll is going to a costume party. I just got a cute pattern for tops and capri's to make her a new outfit.
