I'm tired of my seams not matching up and sick of my points being cut off! No matter if I cut precisely and sew the quarter inch seam...I can't get it right!
I actually tried to PP recently and totally got all frustrated and confused with that too :(
I think quilting is kinda like having a green thumb...either you do or don't.
I still enjoy it but sheesh!

When I first started quilting I could not make a square in a square and rail fence. They were the biggest mess. I made my own paper piecing patterns. Wonderful. My points were no longer cut off and finally had decent blocks. I'm better now but I do a lot of scrappy quilts that don't have to bematchy matchy.

Ahhh...I think we all have had those days, I still do every once in a while. Have you taken any classes at all? They sure help me. Plus you meet some great Peeps.

Do you have a LQS, quilting buddy or guild in your area that you could show your work to and ask for their guidance and suggestion? One mistake I used to make all the time was letting the fabric move when I got to the end of my piecing. Now I can't even remember how it was effecting my quilts but they weren't right.

I enjoy paper piecing. Try it....the first one is hard, but after you get the hang of it it's fun!
