thanks, love2quilt. i wasn't here this weekend to answer.

shelleyp - open a second mailbox with a different service provider. they all offer free ones. like my main provider (the one i pay for) is verizon, but i also have a free mailbox with hotmail. every newsletter or quilt-related or sewing related email that i sign up for comes in on the hotmail box. that leaves my main mailbox free for family and friends without having my dh go crazy looking for his incomings.

then sign yourself up for every newsletter that even remotely interests you. some inform you of great sales like this. others give good hints and others give free patterns. that way you don't miss out. if one turns out to be a dud, just unsubscribe. if you want to stay with your own provider, simply open a secondary mailbox under a new password. bingo!

Thanks for the info ladies. It's the covered bridge festival weekend so I know I will be over there at some point.

Thats a good idea about the extra email account. I'll do that! In the mean time, I did subscribe to F&P to my regular email. I know I want theirs!
