Finally, after the sale started last Friday, today, was my first chance to go and shop/spend!! Bought a ton of backing fabrics for future quilts, several single yards of blenders to add to the stash but my absolute greatest find were prepackaged batik fat quarters. 8 in a pack, orgionaly priced at $14.99 marked down to FIVE dollars!!!! That figures out to less than 65 cents a FQ or $2.50 a yard. The colors are bright jewel tones, red, pink, green, blue etc. They have a very nice marbled effect and are so pretty.....20 packages came home with me, so I guess I am set for a l-o-n-g time.

I was also able to score some very pretty M'Liss batiks marked down to $5.00 a yard. Soft creams with shades of pinks, blues, green, and yellows.

    Doing the happy dance tonight!!

woo hoo! Doesn't seem like our Hancocks does sales "in person". They don't have the same "in store" sales as they have on the web.

I tried to do order online then to get the sales prices and pick it up and they told me I couldn't do that... funny, I live less than 20 minutes from them.

    Oh well... glad you scored!

I stopped in my Hancocks today to see the "Clean Sweep" sale and I must have gone too late. Nothing but UGLY or totally innappropriate fabrics for quilting were left. Bummer. I did use my 40% coupon for a small jelly roll of the Top Drawer fabrics. Ten strips for $6, not bad... I think I can make a nice tablecloth with those.

I'm not sure but I think hanconks of Paducah is different from other Hancocks. Atleast that's what I've heard.
