I love it. Your friend will be pleased with that I'm sure. I have never used a jelly roll before. I think when buying them you have to go for quality maunufacturer because one of my friends bought a random one that was assembled by the vendor at a show that was badly cut and she had a nightmare of a job piecing it together.

Looks good! I know she will if your friend is like mine, I made a king size log cabin quilt for my friend's 70th B-day and really surprised her, she just loved it. She knew I was making the quilt, but all along thought it was going to be for my DH, she had made a comment to that effect and I never corrected her, just let her think that was the story. I am so sure your friend will just love her new quilt too. Thanks for sharing.

What a great birthday gift. I think the lights really worked with the darker ones. Looks real cuddly.
