Does anyone have a picture of a quilt with a very busy pattern that they have quilted with a panto? I have been asked to quilt for someone who has pieced together an african theme quilt which is really "busy" and I am trying to give her a visual of what an all over panto would look like. She is afraid it will take away from her pictures.

Thanks for any help in advance!

This was done with a Stars & Moons panto. You can really only see the stars & moons up close. The thin pink border and the outer black border have a different cable design in them but the interior section is an edge to edge stars, moons and squiggles.

A Clear pelxiglass with a find point wipe board marker would give her an idea of what the stitching will look like. Just an idea.

I don't know if any of these would be considered busy, but I have some samples of panto quilting on my website here:

(If you click on a photo it will enlarge)

Custom quilting on a 'busy' quilt is a waste of time, in my opinion. If it's busy, you can't see the custom quilting.
