My DH came home last night with 6 yards of fabric for me. He said he just liked the patterns and they were on sale for $2 or $2.50 a yard. The one is a southwestern strip type design. I thought it would make a great border for a table topper or wall hanging with a southwestern flair. I would use the turquoise, browns and tans that are in the border type print. Do you have any blocks to suggest? I think there is a southwestern cross block I have seen in the past, kinda like stacked strips, but can't find a pattern. Any suggestions would be appreciated. You folks always are so helpful!

    Sure, give me a sec.

Ok, here they are. The colors aren't quite right, they are richer, but it will give you the idea.

Thanks for reminding me of that shop. I visited it in the summer of 2009 and the owner was very nice and helpful about what to see in Albuquerque as well!

Looks like it wants to be an (easy) bargello quilt to me. Just cut in strips and reunite in a flowing pattern.
