I've not met anyone IRL, but sure have met a lot of wonderful people in the cyber world!
Okay, I'm curious, please, what is FART? in the quilting world that is! I'm a nurse & know all too well what it is in the medical field!!!!
And then, QuiltE, you mentioned F2F, what is that?!

I haven't yet but plan to this summer. Have been instant messaging 5 or 6 nice people on here and we are planning on getting together soon. It really is a small world.

LOL! Thanks Lori, it does make sense, & I'm sure subconsciously it was there but I couldn't pull it forward!

I have met several members virtually, and one in particular lives on the East coast and I live on the West coast, we may never have the opportunity to meet in person, but enjoy frequent emails and friendly conversation, almost as though we lived next door to each other.

I love the spirit of this board, it has such warm communication and friendship!

i have met a wonderful woman, heelie, and her husband! they and my dh, and i went to the theater the other night and had a wonderful time! she has the most wonderful quilting studio, and we have had fun hanging and quilting. she is great and has a wealth of information that she generously shares!
i'd like to thank the quilter from tennesee who posted for a quilting buddy. you're the one that got us together! and i also want to thank all the nice people on the board that i've dealt with. this is such a great way to make, and be, friends!
(sorry= didn't realize i say wonderful so much)LOL
