They all are lovely but I think I would use the solid yellow color.

Thank you all so much and I will go by yellow as most of you suggested and also seams to be the most traditional way to go. I use the Moda bella solid 30`s yellow and it looks nice to me.
What slows me down a bit is the thought that I will HAVE to handquilt this one................

I like the solid center. It slows down the block.

I like the red or yellow fabrics. It's going to be wonderful....keep going :-D

I like the colors you used in the plates and I like the yellow center.But whatever you like best.
