I like solid for the center but they do not have to all be the same color. If the solid is overtaking the prints, try a lighter color of the solid.

I really like the patterned yellow print or the blue print for the centers. Traditionally I have always seen a solid fabric center on Dresden Plates, usually yellow. Maybe a solid blue would work and really make the colors pop! I love the fabrics used in the petals - I see at least 6 that are in my stash right now!

I vote for the solid yellow but would like a variety of solids. Very nice choice of plate fabrics. It is going to be a beauty.

Your dresden plates are so pretty. I like the solid yellow and the blue centres. Just depends on the look you want.
