My daughter is getting married May 2012. I found this dress at the good will store. (It's pinned up now). This will be her second dress of the day. She will be at an outside reception and didn't want to drag her wedding dress around all day. I was so excited when I found it. Very little alterations to be done other than cutting it off and hemming it. Oh yes and only $20. wooohoooooo

I have over $100 in fabric upstairs waiting to make her a dress. I just knew I could not make one with such detail. What a blessing it was when I found this one.

It just goes to show you what wonderful things you can find at Goodwill and other places. It is almost like the purebreds being found that the shelter. It never hurts to look. Congrats to your daughter and son-in-law to be. And it is perfect for her outdoor reception

What a pretty and fun dress. That's a great idea to change out of her wedding dress into something more comfy for the reception. Hope y'all have a wonderful wedding!
