My SIL requested a quilt for a little girl whose dad had just been deployed. I put a little bit of camo on the back =) I have been wanting to learn how to use all the fancy rulers I have in my room. So I started with Jodi Barrows Square in A Square. I think I bought it over 10 years ago. Now I'm wondering why I waited so long. Went together in a snap and I didn't even have to be that careful. Lots of wiggle room. One ruler down...many more to go. =)

That is one little girl that will be so happy to be wrapped up in her own special quilt. You did a really great job putting it all together I like the colors and the design.

Wow, really cute. Would love to see a closer up of the flowers. Did you put jewels on them? Great job on the quilt. She will love it.

The flowers were cut out with my Studio using the Rose of Sharon dies. although the shape is very simple and then they are sewed on raw edge style. No stress quilting at its finest. =)

The Lady Bug is machine embroidery..I can look up where it came from if anyone is interested.
