From time to time, I quit working on my normal quilting projects and make something that's a bit less "expected". I still need to quilt this and have NO idea what to do with it when it's done, cause I don't decorate in lavender and pinks, although I dearly love the colors...sigh...but I had fun doing this and did quilte a bit of hand applique. One of my signatures is the scrappy pieced background and the use of handkerchiefs...thanks for looking!

Neat, hope you figure out how best to quilt it. Sorry I can't offer any help.

I'd start with some thread painting for the stems and leaves and then see where you want to go from there. I love it...so serene looking.
