Just had a total knee replacement last week. Got home yesterday and am feeling a bit sorry for myself. So much pain! This is my second one so you think I would be used to it. Not! Hate having to ask for so much help too. Miss quilting like crazy but machine is on second floor and the stairs are a real pain--literally! I know it gets better but right now I can't see the light at the end of this dark tunnel.

It will be worth it later down the road. Rest, Sleep, read or whatever just knowing that this soon will pass:)

Since this is n not your 1st, you know recovery is just around the corner. Have someone bring down some of your quilting stuff! Just don't forget your independent exercises. Those will keep your muscles loose and your knee flexible.

I hope you heal quickly and are through with the pain even before that!

I've had both knees replaced and I can feel for you. Hope the pain leaves soon. Stairs are a hard thing but keep up the therapy and take lots of pain pills. You'll be sewing soon. Lots of hugs for you.

I had mine replaced last year so I know the pain.

Get someone to get your stuff to you so you don't have to tackle those stairs.

When you finally are able to see the light at the end of the tunnel - as long as it's not a train you'll be in good shape!

I know how you're feeling(at least to some degree). I also have had TKRs. Those first couple weeks post op are the worst. Hope you get through them and enjoy the benefits of your surgery. Hang in there. And don't be afraid to ask for help----that was the hardest part for me!!
