I love your space and view. Taxes and heat the place would make this an impossible dream here in VT. If you got that figured out you would need snow shoes to get there.

I found how much of a money pit chickens can be to gardens. I had my perinials before the chickens and had to fence all my gardens. They are not as attractive with the fences but it keeps most of the chickens out. They are so distructive. Some days I just keep them in their fenced in area or only let them out later in the day. The 3 year old granddaughter is afraid of the chickens. Rooster attacked her. He is gone now but she is still afraid.

That is a beautiful yard,and sewing house. I think we are all green with envy. Here in NM ,all we have is wind,wind,wind.I sure love your back yard. Mine is mainly brown dirt
