Sew-Mor Zigzag Sewing Machine
#1
Does anyone know anything about this machine? I have the serial number but can't seem to find any comprehensive list online. Perhaps I'm just looking in the wrong places. Any ideas? I have the machine, 6-7 extra feet, 20 "Automatic Sew Discs".

From all I can tell it was made in Japan after the war. Often the same model (with a different brand name) would be sold in different stores under the store brand name, like Kenmore for Sears. They were really mass produced, usually not a collectors item. If it still sews well you could quilt on it. You probably can still find parts for it.

It's probably a re-badged Singer or Kenmore. Google images for those machines and see if you can find one that looks like yours. Many of the old machines are very similar in terms of threading, oiling, etc. so you may not even need a manual in order to figure out all the features, since you already have the cams and attachments.
