Just for fun, thought I'd share a picture of my sewing setup when we were living in our RV fulltime.

Our unit has a king size bed in it. The mattress lifts for storage, and that's where I kept my fabric and thread stash for the most part.

In the photo you can see a few narrow baskets on top of the slide out over the TV. Our 5th wheel has 4 slideouts, and I had all of them lined with these baskets, and they stored fat quarts, charm packs, threads, and patterns.

There was a fireplace under the TV, but I had hubby remove it and install 2 cabinet doors for more sewing paraphenalia.

All in all, it wasn't bad!

Very clever and tidy!!! Fun and interesting pic-thanks!!! ETA: I love to see othet folks' sewing rooms, but I hate it when the machines are covered. Guess I like seeing machines in their habitats, sort of like the zoo.

I have to caution you, this is a major hassle if you move every few days, LOL

I'm envious of this way of living. My husband is not one for RV. What a nice set up!

What a great set up! The whole idea of being "on the road" for a while is to do what you like. You are obviously doing just that--congratulations!

Can't wait to show your picture to my mom who is a full time rv'er and quilt maker. She has fabric stashed all over their rv. She has considered taking out one of the chairs to make more room for fabric. It is amazing at all the stuff you can pack into one of those rvs. Thanks for sharing your picture.
