It sounds like the "bug" has bitten.

Welcome to the fold.....I've decided quilting is an addiction.

I speak from experience that buying fabric is for sure.
(which reminds me, expecting a "squishy" today :-D )

Have fun, enjoy yourself!

Congratulation on your new marriage. Also congrats on joining the quilting world. You will both be spending about the same. I know because my cousin is a woodworker and His wife loves to sew. Even though she isn't a quilter.
But I am trying to make her one. LOL.

Welcome! I think those two hobbies go well together - quilting and woodworking. That's the way it is in our house. :)

Welcome from WAshington (state)! I love the Elm Creek Quilt books and that started me on the search for other authors that have quilting and other creative crafts in their stories. Quilting is so cool, in that you can truly make it your own with every project.
Congratulations to you and your new husband.
PS don't forget to request (smile!) a cabinet to hold all your new quilts!

Great, a new marriage, a new quilter, and a talented hubby who can make cabinets for her sewing. Wow! I felt the earth shift! Welcome aboard! -Kelly

Congrats on your new marriage, and what a great idea for a gift a sewing machine. A great big welcome from Texas

All I can say is WOW!!! between the both of you , you will do some great things together. Woodworking and Quilting are complementary of each other. I have done both and you will figure out the compliments later.

Good luck and just keep smiling!
