There is so much to do and I just want to go sew something. I need to do yard work, iron, housework, sort through my recently deceased mother's things...and here I sit. My head is not very clear. I need a maid! Wouldn't it be so nice if we could just twitch our nose like Samatha did on Bewitched? That is my dream. haha

That is understandable. Sometimes when we get stressed we need to take some time to do something we enjoy (sewing) to get us focused again. Could you go sew for 30 minutes then come back and do a chore that you feel you need to get done?

I'm with you I would rather be sewing than doing house work.

sorry to hear you are in a slump also, hubby just came in house and we got our laundry folded up and kitchen cleaned up

I know I have lots of things on my to do list and just don't feel like doing it

maybe we need a motivation thread to get us in the mood to get things done

    Today . . . me too.

Try setting a timer for an hour and go sew. After doing what you want to do, it will be easier to do another task. I'm taking my own advice today. :D

Me, too. I am usually not like this. I think I will just enjoy the afternoon. Everything will still be here tomorrow and I have the day off.

Start by giving yourself 2 hours a day,
    4 hours a day,
then 1 whole day a week.
I can say that, but don't do it either, but it does sound good.
