    A friend and I are planning a trip to Paducah in 2012. What time of the year should we go, and what should we see? We're thinking of taking a bus trip so neither of us has to drive.

    You will have fun. There are lots of shops to visit. I'm not sure if there is a particular time of year that's best or not.
    I live about 45 minutes from Paducah but I only make it there a couple times a year. It always costs me too much money. LOL!!

    It's hot & humid in the spring & summer. The quilt show is the last of April - always a good time if you don't mind the crowds AND if you can find a place to stay.

    I live an hour away and go maybe 3 or 4 times a year. I always try not to go right after the quilt show in late April as stock is depleted from quilt week. Otherwise, it's fun and credit card draining anytime!!

    I live an hour away from Paducah, and I always end up there at least once a week--and even after the quilt show Hancocks has a huge table of end of bolt fabric they mark down a little per yard of all the leftovers from the show. Depending on what you want to do, I would recommend checking out websites about Paducah to see what is going on and what you like to do.
