I finally finished my Hunter's Star quilt top. This is such a fun quilt to make! I was able to work on it a little at a time so it took longer than I liked. I'm posting a picture on my design wall with the quilt but as you can see the wall space is too small for the quilt! My fabric up close.

Please help me with the quilting. Suggestions gladly appreciated because I'm stumped on how to quilt it! One of our nice LAQ'rs from the board may do the quilting for me but on Monday I'm taking the class to learn and I was told to bring the quilt with me. Do you honestly think this is too much for a beginner to work on?

I love it. The batick looks like water to me. Why not do ocean or nautical theme quilting motif?

Lovely! Did you paper piece? Or strip method?

I am a little confused (doesn't take much), on Monday you are taking a free motions class on your regular machine? Or I know in your area the is a shop that 'rents' LA, is that where your going? Now I can see taking your work to shops to Show & Tell :D , but if you are taking a FM class on reg machine, I would not want to 'learn' on a prized piece.

Not much help on the quilting. Maybe some 'curvey' (is that a word?) soft/open design.

    Good luck on your class

Sure is pretty. I like the idea of curves.

Looks great to me and love you fabric choices. All I can do is meander, so I'm no help with quilting.
