I sewed a long horizonal seam putting blocks together today. When I inspected it to see if all the corners were good, I found two burgandy triangles side by side. Was it the end of the world? Would anyone know but me? Maybe my oldest daughter, but it's not for her? Could I ignore it and leave it? NO! So out came the seam ripper. The whole 17" center block had to come out and be flipped. It's out now. Please don't let me put it back in the same way. I've done that with small errors. This is my largest error, what's yours?

A whole quilt with 743 seams, I never forget how many seams there were, nor will I. But got it right and it looked great, was glad I ripped.

I was doing a 'ric rac' border on a king. Had to rip both sides as the points weren't matching up. That was painful!

I like you would have to rip it out. Even tho it might be only me who would see it, that is it I would rip it out. I have had to rip out a bunch and have never kept it in my mind how much it was. Just had to be done. I could not even guess. I do know, I can rip with out hurting the seam.. hehheheh Just use your ripper and cut every third or fourth stitch of the entire seam on the top side and when done turn it to the back and pull the bottom thread will come right out. Then get out the tape and put over and it will pick up all the little pieces of thread left behind.

I just had to rip a whole row.
I has just sewn 2 rows together when I noticed I got them backwards. Top was supposed to be bottom and vice verse.
it was 72 inchs.

Have unquilted an entire full size quilt....bad couple of days....but VERY glad I did when it was over!

I have had to rip out a whole quilt after it was quilted...there was a ripple on the back..my very first commission quilt..talk about learning curve!....It worked out fine...it washed up fine..can't even tell it was ripped out.
