Well, great... I finally score 100% on a test and the prize is to find out I'm "older than dirt." sigh...

(Actually, love the memories... Thanks!!)

My parents, in their 80's, would buy cases of canned goods at a time, and fill up the pantry.

They bought 1/2 a cow and 1/2 a pig every fall from the local farmer.

Potato eyes and garlic that started to grow would be saved and planted in the spring.

Count me in as another"Older than Dirt" It was a great reminder and I find myself reminiscing from time to time about the simplicity of the "good old days" I think we need to bring portions of that life back. RE; All eating at the table together and to ask to be excused. We had one of the RC bottles with the stopper. Used it every week on Monday afternoon when the clothes came off the line so they would be dampened for ironing on Tuesday. I haven't ironed for a long time!

Oh, please, I don't want another reminder that I'm older than dirt. I scored a perfect 15 on this quiz. First time in my life, I get quiz answers all right, and look what it tells me. I'm old.

I'm old and my first car was a red Studebaker, that had been driven by our 81 year old minister. No power steering no power barks.
