I guess I will go with leaves and vines simply because my harvest/fall fabric will work with that :). I dont want to buy anything else for this swap!

Yes black on whites is perfectly acceptable..

Here's whats acceptable:

Black background & white
White background & Black
Black blender or black Marbles
Black on black
Black, grey & white
heck Ill even accept charcoal grey & white!!!

....... Im broadening the scale to reduce duplicates.. If its in the black and white section at the LQS then it should be ok to swap- just no other colors besides WHITE, BLACK & GREY...

I have a thought about orange.... When I did this twist of yellow I thought YELLOW!!! And even considered only doing one twist. Then I found all these pretty yellow fat quarters on sale at a LQS and bought one of each. I ended up with the most cute(I thought) collections of yellow sets and even had one set to many. I am new to this fabric collecting but I wondered if the same thing would happen with orange?
