I would say you not only took that challenge, ran with it and scored a touch down. I think it came out great. Funny the things around us that can go from ordinary into something so special. I also think damned that was a lot of CR. Was he walking well when he passed them on to you? walking at all?

Thanks so much Sue.. I started with my border fabric.. I took a bag with me and found anything that had the purple in it that wasn't so girly, seeing as it was for a lawyers office. Once I found the fabic I was then able to find the other colors. I then came home and got out my squares and centered the CR in the center of the square and that was how I ended up with the center size I believe it is 4x4. I then added the strips that were 1 1/4 I believe. Then added the boarder and quilted it all. It was very fast and easy. My friends still talk about that quilt and that I should make another and enter it.
