This is my first attempt at a log cabin quilt which I did paper foundation piecing for. I used all my left overs from a blue and white quilt I made. I learnt that I probably won't do a big quilt in foundation piecing and that a crooked off grain printed piece of fabric is really annoying. Every quilt teaches me something. I was inspired by the beautiful doll quilts on this board and have been making this off and on for ages. Finally did the binding today after two attempts at quilting it which I ended up by doing hidden quilting as the log cabins were enough detail I felt. Thanks for looking.

I think it looks great! Love the colors. Next time you have problems with a fabric, try starching it. It might make it easier to work with.

I love your colours. Great little quilt. Log cabins are a good way for using up your scraps. I have done several log cabins, but, have yet to paper piece one. Yours is adorable.
