I use such sophisticate things to do my quilts. LOL. One of my favorite things is my crayons. The individual design are by Jan Way who does design for painting. My rule is that you must have 3 crayons in your hands at all times. I want things to be irregular and uneven. If it is even and perfect, it is flat. Crayon Crayolas are my favorite. They have more dye and less wax. You set the color by putting paper toweling or some paper over the drawing and ironing. It pulls out the wax and sets the color. They wash beautifully

Snowman quilt. I forgot the seam allowance in the top left block. I put the checkerboard fabric on it to cover my mistake. Then I put the checkerboard on more blocks to make it seem like it was planned.

angel wall hanging with buttons. The background is colored with a plastic canvas under it to get the texture. The coloring is actually the whole rectangle

How very clever and beautiful!! I absolutely LOVE the snowman quilt! I'm gonna have to try my hand at transfering crayons to fabric....the possibilities are ENDLESS! Thanks for this info!
