I love my Embird software that lets you modify downloaded designs and a lot of other things. Also got the digitizing module but got interested in quilting so haven't taken the time to learn that one. I have way too many interests, not enough hours in the day.

I LOVE Bunnycup.com They have the cutest designs and the applique embroidery comes out so nice. I think she is in Austrailia but you can email her and she is so helpful. Each month she has specials and she also has retired sets that are free. Her gallery gives you tons of ideas for projects and she lists the designs that are used in the projects. Check it out!!

Yes she is in Australia. So is Sue Box. Both are not far from me.
You may want to try Watts Emb. I found quite a few sites through Secrets of Embroidery.
The Quiltery is fairly expensive but they give a freebie with every new release. Designs are beautiful.

Also do a search of Yahoo embroidery groups. They have tons of free designs for members. Just be sure you select daily digest so you're no inundated. One is Betty's Original Embroidery. She has a LOT of freebies. I love Miem's for FSL, too.

I use Embroidery Library and also
like Sue Box and Anita Goodesign.
Loralie Designs has designs that
stitch out beautifully.

The Ann the Gran site has lots of free designs, but you get what you pay for. I'd rather pay for a design from Embroidery Library and get something that will stitch out nicely. They often have designs for $1.
ME TOO!!! I try to get my designs when they go on sale @ EMB LIB....often the freebie designs just do not stitch out correctly. I really enjoy Martha Pullen.....And Martha Stewart now has a couple of design packs that are nice.......
