Hummingbird Visitor!

DH set up 3 hummingbird feeders within 3 inches of our big picture window. Several have been coming frequently during the day. So fun to watch. Thought you might like to see.

They are so cool to watch! We also have thistle socks in the hanging plants that hang from this same horizontal pole. Sometimes there are a dozen or more yellow goldfinch scrambling for a place to feed and then the hummingbird comes in and sometimes tries to scare them off. We have seen them learn to tolerate each other though. :-D

I love the little fellows keep up feeders outside my windows also. The grand kids love to watch them.

Thanks so much for sharing those photos. They are such amazing creatures. Too bad we don't have them in Australia. Guess I'll have to be happy with our native parrots, which are also great fun to watch.
