I wanted to make my dad something special this Christmas. We lost my mom two years ago and I wanted to make him a wall hanging celebrating their lives together and the wonderful family they created. I did a wall hanging that's kind of a family tree. Had a wonderful time picking out pictures of all the family members and putting it together. He actually got teary eyed when he opened it. Anyway, here are some pictures.

a few of my family members checking out their pictures

Here are the roots and trunk (mom and dad)

This is the whole wall hanging.

Wow! That is an awesome job on a great wall hanging! Could you describe your process for someone that might want to copy the idea? Thanks.

I can only imagine how much that meant to your father. I'll bet you made his day, week, year.

What a thoughtful, loving daughter you are! I'd have checked too. Please use one that I think I look good in!

What a wonderful, thoughtful gift, Littlehud. It's a gift that will keep on giving every time your Dad looks at it.
