Wonderful backs. I love especially the ones with the names. That is so special

I'm starting to love pieced backs. Yours are great!

I did this one for my son, I like the back almost as much as the front.

I think this is the old lemons into lemonade. I have a large stash and it is great to pull the back from what I already have on hand. I try to make the colors on the back harmonize with those on the front but otherwise I design a simpler pattern on the back. Recently I made a postage stamp scrap quilt with the middle panel on the back the same size squares but only two different fabrics. Won't do that again, really difficult to get the back lined up to the front. Love everyones backs!

Here are three of my pieced backings, I have almost as much fun piecing the backings as I do the tops, and I get to use up more stash!

My avatar is Lucky Stars by Atkinson Designs. So far, it's one of my favorites. It's very quick and easy to do and looks far more complicated than it is. I've made several in different colors. Here are some pics:

Somewhere I saw one with the name on the front that looked really great too! I was just trying to use up some of the coordinates to the front because they didn't match much of my stash.
