Hey, right there with you! I have a top almost ready to be sandwiched that I am so excited about. This excitement about really finishing something is new to me so I really want to strike while the iron is hot. Fortunately, I have the whole weekend to myself so have decided to have my own all by myself sewing retreat.

I agree! I have two baby quilts ready to be quilted, some Christmas projects started. A pinwheel lapquilt for *giggles* ME to be done. I feel like selling everything, including my sewing room due to lack of time spent there!

Agreed! It'll be decades before I can retire, if ever, so I try not to think about it. LOL

I know the feeling. I go back to teaching school on Thursday. I didn't get anything done this summer since I was helping dh paint the house. The week he was gone I was enjoying the quiet so much I did nothing.

4 more years before retirement.

I'm off to work too. My DH said I had too much stash to which I replied, well if I could retire, I could use it up faster and get rid of some :D :D :D

Do you have sick leave that you can take to heal your emotional psyche?
