    Oh dear, did you get that as a present from a well meaning family member? How on earth does it work? Is it battery powered? I don't see a hand crank.

    Have fun, at least it matches the fabric nicely.

    You hold it in one hand with thumb on the top and two fingers on the bottom and depress and slowly pull the material it really works pretty good. Found it in a box of sewing notions I bought at a flea market

    My MIL bought something similar for my daughter several years ago. DD couldn't get it to work. She put it away with my sewing stuff. Just a few days ago we came across it. My sons had a lot of fun with it. One of them sewed a dirty dishtowel to the t-shirt the other was wearing!
