Okay, Ladies and Gents-------------

I finally ran across one of the HF blades that isn't worth a hoot. I mean that sucker did not make one good cut. After 3 attempts, I marked it used and reached into my stash and got another HF blade and as usual, it cuts like a charm.

I bought 3 packages of HF blades this weekend ($1.50 ea package for 2 blades) after hearing everyone say they worked. Well I tried 3 of them and they have all been very bad. I don't know if I just got a bad batch or what. I had to cut 3 and 4 times and then my squares were very stringy. :( I was very disapointed but I still have one more package to try.

I think you may have gotten a bad batch. I have only found one blade that had a nick in it. Make sure that you are only putting one blade in your cutter. :)

no nicks. One blade only, just does not cut!

My luck runs about 50/50, but for the price, I'm still ahead getting the HFs. Also, try to run it through your sharpener, if you have one? (Mine is the deluxe No-Name $4.99 before coupon model) Sometimes there's just a "cling-on" from manufacturing that needs to be disengaged.
