Just completed my latest "strippy" lap quilt using the Los Novios theme. The colors are much more vibrant than my camera shows.

Not necessarily. My daughter had me do this for a friend who loves this stuff.

This particular quilt pattern has been great for Project Linus. It just requires 3 fabrics and a back. I like it.

Wow, I love it. I have a wallhanging or quilt pattern featuring sugar skulls and I just love it. I have not made it yet, but I will. I found it at a quilt show and the lady had so many cute things. She had handbags and dolls and lots of quilt patterns, most all with that Latin flavor. Not sure why I am drawn to it because if you knew me you would never think I would be. But I do like it a lot.

I think this is cool! When in joanns the other day the young gal in front of me had a simular fabric. Of course I had to know what she was going to do with it, she told me she was making a purse for a friend.

Love your quilt!

An unusual name for this quilt. Los novios translates into something more like "bride and groom". I do see some couples but they don't looke like they are getting married.

I love your quilt. It's awesome. Although I love the bright colors of the fabric, I find the printed design of the fabric weird. However, there is something about the combination of the color and design that just draw my eyes to it. I consider your quilt a true piece of art. Thanks for sharing.
