So glad to find this forum. I love looking at the wonderful works of art. I had a drapery business for 25 years until 2006 when I became ill with Guillain-Barre syndrome which left me paralyzed and in the hospital for 4 months and left me with permanent nerve damage. Don't cry for me because I now have time to quilt! My profile pic is my healing quilt. I started it after I became ill and now am waiting for my new Janome 6600 to come in so I can finish it and start new ones.
So happy to met everyone and get to know you all better.

Beautiful name for the quilt, and oh my gosh what a BEAUTIFUL quilt. I love the applique you have done, and using all the checked fabrics. This is just wonderful!!

Hello Pauletta, welcome from northern California! Your quilt is gorgeous, so pretty and such a nice design. I'm glad that you are better and able to enjoy quilting. I hope you will post more pictures!
