I just finished quilting flowers around the appliqued circles on this client's quilt. Her friend bought it in an antique shop in Vancouver British Columbia.

It has circles appliqued by hand with satin stitch to bleached feedsack fabric. Each block has 7 circles. I quilted petals around the circles to make each block look like a flower.

Nice job! You really kept the appeal on the quilt top and not all the quilting on the top.

If you can, get your friend to label the quilt - where she got it, any story about it when she got it, and mention your name and date when the top was finally quilted.

Thanks for showing us the quilt!
