I still have to add the borders but here is what the completed top looks like minus borders. If there are anymore mistakes they will just be staying there. I have always struggled with lining up seams evenly so maybe a bargello was a bad pick but I love the look of them, so what the heck.
The first half went together easily enough minus the seam lining up struggle then I must have gone crazy or vacated my mind during the second half. After making all 53 rows and putting 18 together I noticed one was wrong. On double check 7 were wrong and had to be taken apart and redone. Then I kept sewing them on the wrong end and just could not get the seams to line up. I have taken so many rows apart that the fabric shredded and I had to replace squares so the way it is now is the way it will stay.
I love this pattern. I'll post one last pic when the borders are finished. They will be 2.5 in chocolate, 2.5 in cream and 6.5 in floral in top. My bed is waiting.
