How many of you have a tan featherweight? Just curious.

We have six featherweights in the family and not a tan one to be had. DD has a white one and I have the Centennial black one. I'd like a tan one (hard to come by) and a 222. I keep looking. Featherweights do show up on Kijiji (Canadian version of Craig's List) but I rarely see the ones that I am looking for. I'd also like a Featherweight cabinet and a Penguin walking foot. It gives me a reason to keep hunting.

I snagged a tan one for $100 last year. I don't know what the letter is but it is definitely tan. I have seen some in pics that appear a lighter shade of tan than the one i have. Was there more than one tan color? Imagine my surprise when I saw these selling on ebay for $700!

No tan FW at my house but I do have the black 221 and 222K.
Wondering when and how many they made of the tan FWs.

I have my grandmother's and the homeless one that my DH found at the dump - they are both black. I don't know for sure how many she has total, but my Mom has 6 tans, 4 whites and 2 222s. She probably has 10-12 black 221s.

I have already told her that they all come to ME since I am the only one in the family that sews. I don't care that anyone else wants them for their antique value - I EARNED THEM!!!!! hahahahaha

I guess I am a collector, 1 white, 1 tan, about 16 black.
What can I say, I like them! Ruth
