This was an old recipe of my Gramma's that I finally recreated. I've made chocolate as well as other flavors. Made a vanilla lush just over the weekend. Any pudding is fine.

This is a four layer dessert.
Ingredients:

Graham Crackers, butter and sugar to make a 9 x13 x2 dish crust
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 tub cool whip, divided
1 c powdered sugar
1 box instant pudding, any flavor

1. Make graham cracker crust to fit in the 9 x 13 x 2 baking dish. Put dish in the fridge while you make the next layer.

2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and 1 c Cool Whip with electric mixer until smooth. Spread evenly over graham cracker crust. Put back into the fridge while you make the next layer.

3. In a bowl, make pudding according to directions for pudding (it makes more than if you make it for pie). Let sit in fridge just long enough to set. Spread evenly over cream cheese layer. Refrigerate 10-15 minutes.

4. Spread rest of Cool Whip tub over dessert. Refrigerate until served.

I find that if I make a flavor that's not chocolate, it's not good to make it too far in advance. Chocolate ones I make the night before as the flavors meld together much better overnight.

Enjoy!

My DH insists on this dessert every Christmas/Thanksgiving. I restrict him to only once a year because it is soooo sweet and he eats the entire thing! LOL
