Over the past few years I have been making quilts for my DH family. I have 4 quilts left, then all his siblings, in-laws and kids will have one. I am currently working on making a scrappy quilt for my husband. My problem is that he keeps asking who this one is for. My response is not sure. I just wished he wouldn't take such notice so that I could actually surprise him once. Hopefully, I will be able to pull it off. Wish me luck.

Good Luck! My DH does the same thing. I managed to get one done for him without him noticing by closing the door to my room in the evenings. He thought I was trying to keep the dogs out so he never came in just in case they slipped by him. Ha!

we love that they take an interest in our passions, but sometimes that doesn't work in our favor :)

I'm making one for my hubby now too but he knows it. I will be glad when I get finished. He keeps making suggestion while I'm working kind of like a back seat driver. Yesteerday he was in my sewing room checking out what type of batting he wanted. I wish I could keep it a suprise but it's way too late for that.

Well if you make it in his presence its not really a surprise, you should work on it when hes not around

I wish I had that problem. My boyfriend said he does NOT want me to make him a quilt. At least I know not to make one for him. Everyone else likes them.
