I saw this "desk" stuck between some large office furniture in the corner of a thrift store today. I have been looking for something to use as a sewing/cutting table for a couple of months so I got a little excited. I moved a few things, climbed over a few things and there she was! Only $18.00. I could hardly keep quite when I saw the machine inside. I have not tried it yet to see if it works but it seems to be very clean and all the buttons and dials move. It says Singer Special Zig Zag Edition 766. I am hoping that it will work but if not, I am still thrilled about the table itself. If I can make myself get off this board, I am gonna give her a try. LOL

Lucky you. Hope the machine works. Table looks very nice. Like those big drawers on the side. Good find.
