I live down state and on Facebook, the channel 7 news says to watch for them and report if seen. I looked out and nothing now, I will look again in a few minutes. . I have never seen them down here but I have seen them around Cadilac on my way to Traverse City.

The lights are one of the things that I truly miss from the northland. The two most memorable displays: one in 1970 while we were at a drive in movie that was so bright that they turned off the movie because everyone was lying on the roof looking at the sky; and one in about 1996 where the list were green and white and red, not only in the north and rose up from the horizon all the way to the middle. Still am going to make a quilt of the northern lights someday. What do you all think--Bargello?

Nothing, darker than Tobys tail to the north can see stars everywhere else! I have seen some beautiful ones in the past though.

I've seen them only on TV with color. I don't understand what you saw if there was no color? We only see funny lights here:roll:
