The Butterflies are machine embroidered on my Bernina 180E. They are a Dakota Collectibles design.
I made 20 blocks for my quilt. Thanks for all the comments.
I haven't decided which fabric to use, I walked away, and plan to come back to it next week, maybe the answer will come to me. I may need to shop for more fabric! LOL

Your blocks are delicate and fragile in appearance, IMHO. That being said, I would use the lighter green for its delicacy and airiness (is that even a word?). I think it will be beautiful whichever way you go.

I like the light green background-are you going to put the sunflowers in the second border then do the green again?-that would be lovely

Have you considered framing each of those lovely blocks with a tiny frame of darker color like a soft black or that green in the border? 1/4 - 1/2" should be more than enough and really make the blocks stand out from the background IMHO. Then look at the background choices again.

did you try w/the dk green, between& rotating either of the choices to the 1st border? whatever you do it will be beautiful!

Wow, at first I really like the first one, then when I scrolled down, it was No Question, the green one is better. The blocks pop on the green! Use the stash, no need to buy more!
