Nope, no candy this year. We buy candy every year and no one knocks. This year I have removed all temptation. I did not even buy my annual bag of candy corn. I am trying to be a good diabetic.

EXCUSE ME??!! What ARE they talking about. When I was a kid if anyone had tried to get any of my goodies they would have drawn back a nub. (except for jujubes, yuck). What kind of parents take their kids' candies after they worked so hard trick or treating to get them.
I thought "draw back a nub" was a Texanism. Maybe it's a transplanted Yankeeism and I didn't know it! Anyway, it's delightful to see it in print. And I keep candy in the house all year, so I don't have to wait until Halloween--that's why I need to lose 20 pounds. froggyintexas

No, no candy. However, my little boy 9, and his friend made frosted Halloween sugar cookies and I HAD to eat some (too many) Ha, Ha, Ha! They are my favorite! :)

Well we bought a 150 piece bag from Costco and it might be missing some Almond Joy, and peanut M&M's DH and my favorites.

Uh.....we've had to make two trips to the store to restock our Halloween candy supply. We live out in the country and have not had a tricker treater in years.
