I stopped in the thift store and for 30 dollars, I left with a new pair of jeans, a new top, 6 new christmas placemats, used cardinal mug... and 3 pairs of pants and 3 sweat shirts for my little big man! the placemats had 6 dollars each tags on them from Macys and they were priced at 50 cents each, then half price day for linens! I was a happy camper

Isn't thrifting great? I started doing this recently so I could get shirts & etc. until I stopped changing sized. I bought a new round of sweaters & long-sleeve shirts for fall/winter at a much better price. I totally lucked out with a London Fog coat for $10.

Now I don't think that I will stop....

I do thrift shops for 100% wool that I buy to cut up for quilting. So much cheaper than the store. We have a Salvation Army Thrift Store that only charges .49 on Saturday night for anything with a color tag of the week. Last Saturday I got 2 wool skirts for .49 each. Couln't beat that!!!!

I think it is smart to get things from thrift shops.
