Thanks I found the pattern & I'll try to find my sacks of strips if not I'll have plenty of scraps to choose from I think it'll be a good begining quilt for my 11 yr old gt gd daugther to start with & they'll be lots of scraps left for me

I'm new to quilting. Have made lap and one queen size. Tops only. This looks like one I can do. Do you mind sharing name of pattern?

I found the pattern on the next newsletter that I received its called Bricks and Stepping-Stones & downloaded it from quiltville.com/bricksandstonespf.htm1 hope you can find it
Ive been quilting for about 20 yr have made & or started lots of tops now (UFOs) Have a few finished lots to finish (for about 5 yr as my husband was sick with cancer I didn't get much finished) then we moved to NC from Ks to live with my gd daughter & family (that was a lost yr) my husband passed 2 mo after we moved here. Sew Iam getting back into it I love to machine embroider also & am involved in a crazy quilt block exchange right now it great . well its a slow Sun sew better get in some embroider for my blks.

Second post. I just read all of the postings and saw where the pattern can be found. Looked at pictures of finished quilt in the pattern and I think that the colors you used make the quilt so very beautiful. Delpha

That isn't a picture of my quilt I just saw it today & liked it sew wanted the pattern I will start cutting strips next week but have to get some crazy quilt blks done & sent first Iam in a swap.
I like the picture of your block
right now Iam embroidery on blks for the swap

Great quilt and I love the way it's all tied together with the black and white material. So simple but so cute. Good job.
